Anyone can become a member of the Italian American Citizens Club. Members participate in many social events throughout the year, including the popular spring, summer, fall and winter bocce leagues and club tournaments. The IACC maintains and operates the bocce courts located in Orange Memorial Park through a co-sponsorship agreement with the City of South San Francisco. Free bocce lessons are offered to the public at various times during the year and the bocce courts are open to the public Monday through Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm. The IACC Clubhouse is located adjacent to the bocce courts at 783 Tennis Drive and is used for a variety of club functions and meetings. DownloadThe Italian American Citizens Club hosts a variety of social events throughout the year: Crab Feed Dinner, Festa Italiana, a Members Appreciation event, Person of the Year Dinner Dance, President's Socials and other activities. A variety of Bocce Tournaments and Leagues are also held throughout the Year.
The IACC offers scholarships for high school seniors. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better. Scholarships will be awarded based on scholastic achievements, future goals, involvement in community activities, financial need, cultural awareness, and a letter of recommendation.
The IACC is a non-profit corporation. We give to various charities and have collected food donations for Samaritan House, coats for One Warm Coat and supported Safe Harbor and the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation to name just a few.
Bocce courts are open to the public Monday - Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
